Last year’s spectacular debut of the Connectuj.me platform attracted enormous public interest. This year, its creator, Goran Delić, may have raised the bar even higher—perfectly reflecting the platform’s commitment to continuous growth, transformation, and ever more ambitious goals. At this year’s Connectuj.me platform, which will take place in Podgorica on 18 and 19 September, one of the biggest names in the world of sport will take the stage—undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk.

In an exclusive conversation entitled “Legacy of a Champion,” Usyk will share the story of his journey from Olympic gold to becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He will speak about performing under immense pressure, discipline, faith, leadership, and the power of sport to unite a nation. He will also explore how the greatest victories are often achieved far beyond the boxing ring.

Usyk will explain how, through the foundation he established, a champion can support the people of Ukraine under the most difficult circumstances, develop youth sport, and create opportunities for future generations.

In addition to Usyk, the platform—which offers an exclusive experience limited to a maximum of 250 participants—will feature many prominent figures from the worlds of business, medicine, culture, fashion, and sport.

Branko Milutinović, co-founder and CEO of Nordeus, who now leads the sports gaming portfolio of Take-Two Interactive—one of the world’s largest publicly traded video-game companies—will reveal how Top Eleven, the game he created with his team, conquered the global market and propelled Nordeus into the highest ranks of the international gaming industry.

Gabriel Abed, a pioneer of the blockchain revolution, adviser to world leaders and central banks, entrepreneur, diplomat, and one of the most influential voices in digital currencies, will present his vision of the economic future. He will also explain how, as Chairman of the Board of Binance—the “Partner from the Future” of the Connectuj.me platform—he is helping lay the foundations of the modern global economy.

Appearing publicly in Montenegro for the first time, Vladimir Cmiljanović, founder of Swiss Rockets, will share his remarkable life story. As a junior handball representative of the former Yugoslavia, he left for Lemgo, Germany, with just 100 German marks in his pocket. He later received an offer from Basel, where handball enabled him to complete his chemistry studies and pursue his childhood dream—finding a cure for cancer.

Cmiljanović is regarded as one of the world’s leading living scientists. His groundbreaking work in oncology brought him international recognition and numerous global awards, while Switzerland honoured him in 2016 with the country’s highest economic distinction.

During the two-day Connectuj.me platform, multiple world and European athletics champion Ivana Španović will speak about mental discipline, years of sacrifice, injuries that break the body, and the public’s irrational expectation that an athlete must always be the best.

Iva Radić, founder of the Journal.hr platform, and Danijela Dimitrovska, one of the region’s leading fashion influencers, will open a discussion on how the digital revolution has transformed the fashion industry.

North Macedonian businessman Svetozar Janevski, living proof that globally significant success stories can emerge from this region, will explain how a series of successful business decisions led him to acquire a majority stake in Tikveš Winery. Under his leadership, Tikveš became a driving force behind major changes in wine production throughout the Balkans.

The two-day platform will close with one of the region’s most popular actors, Milan Marić, who will help explore what the greatest “Shadows over the Balkans” are today—and whether the Balkans truly suffer from a lack of talent, or from systems that fail to give talent enough space to thrive.
